Charity never faileth;
but whether there are prophecies,
they shall fail:
whether there be tongues,
they shall cease:
whether there be knowledge,
it shall vanish away

had the privilege of witnessing Alicia's water baptism last afternoon.
my heart rejoices with her and am really touched by the grace of the Lord's mercy in her life!
may she walk in the light and be a vessel sanctified for the Master's use!

my more-than-a-decade-old good friend and sister-in-Christ now
Indeed, blest is the Tie that binds!
as i am typing out this post,
my heart is evermore thankful to Christ Who has proven to be faithful, gracious and loving in my life.
He, Who is Faithful and True,
Who goes before me,
Who parted the Red Sea,
Who died for my sins,
Who rose again on the 3rd Day,
Who knows my frame before the foundations were laid,
Who holds the earth in His Right Hand,
Who knows the balancings of the clouds,
Who was there when the morning stars sang together,
Who loves me with an everlasting Love.
In His Word,
man is described as dust and grasshoppers.
"What is man that He should be mindful of us?"
Grant me a contented heart O Lord
as I rest under the wings of the Almighty,
and my soul shall find rest.
Is anything too difficult for the Lord?

Grace Greater than Our Sin
Julia H.Johnston 1849-1919
"Julia Johnston was for many years involved in the work of Sunday schools at the First Presbyterian Church of Peoria, Illinois, and as a writer of lesson materials for primary age children for the David C. Cook Publishing Company. She also wrote approximately 500 hymn texts. The composer of this hymn, Daniel B. Towner, was for many years the director of the music department at Moody Bible Institute. "Grace Greater Than Our Sin" first appeared in Towner's compilation, Hymns Tried and True, 1911." Sermon Audio
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on ALL who believe!
You that are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive?
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace grace,
God's grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin!
"But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5.20,21
