words

words can either build up or tear down.
i am particular about words that cometh from the mouth.
they show forth the abundance of one's heart.
i am sorry God for hurting him- with my very insensitive words.
please help me to do right and season my speech with grace and love- more so when i am upset.

this world is not my home

palm sunday 2012

dear Jesus,

today marks Palm Sunday.
just wondering: how many more palm sundays, passion weeks and easter sundays do i have on earth before I get to see you face to face?

weekend is always fleeting.
my flesh yearns for a longer rest.
life feels like a never-ending season of work.
but i have to be thankful- in ALL circumstances!
school starts tomorrow and work definitely starts tomorrow as well.
Lord, needing your grace, each and every moment.
into Your hands i consecrate next week.
a challenging one.

a solemn reminder

surrender is not a one-off event.

surrender is a daily denying of one self, taking up of one's Cross, and following after Jesus who died and bled for me.

dear Lord Jesus,
i am sorry Lord that I am still so far away from the "Love that faileth not".
can you please help me to by Thy grace display that "Love which loves her neighbour as herself"?
